Time-wasters

I've been spending my time less than productively, lately.

Time-waster number 1: Facebook. Thanks, Kara :P I now spend way too much time playing Lost trivia, and taking quizzes!

Time-waster number 2: Freerice.com. Thanks to Lisa for addicting me to this one. It's a website which is a vocabulary quiz, that, supposedly donates 20 grains of rice for every word you get right. There are levels from 1 to 55. The highest most people get is 48 (I managed to get there once- DH actually made it to level 40)...and it's a constant temptation to see if I can go just a little farther. Only trouble is, each word you get wrong drops you down a level, and it takes 3 correct answers in a row to get back up to the next level again!

Time-waster number 3: Homemade valentines. I get ads in my e-mail all the time for various digiscrap stores- I usually don't look at them though. One day a few weeks ago, though, I did...and they were advertising a template for pillow boxes that you could make to put treats in- for Valentines, or wedding favors, or whatever. I thought- that looks like fun!- and suggested it to Isabelle, who was enthusiastic. And then Rebecca of course wanted whatever her sister had. So....I ended up making 48 pillow boxes, which are now stuffed with chocolate, and waiting to be delivered to their respective Valentine's parties! Here's a pic...
